Giving to the Program for Women in Science and Engineering

How Your Gifts Help

Amanda
Amanda, senior in Civil and Construction Engineering Testing the Water Quality of Lake Laverne.
The private support of its generous alumni and friends has never been more important to Iowa's land-grant university, and your gifts are truly making a difference. Without private support, the majority of the programs and services offered by the Program for Women in Science and Engineering (PWSE) would not be possible. Private funding supports outreach programs (Taking the Road Less Traveled Career Conferences, Student Role Model Program, etc.), programs for undergraduates (scholarships, learning communities, leadership development programs, summer intern program, academic support, etc.) and the overall operation of the PWSE offices. Click here for a listing of current needs for PWSE.

To learn more about opportunities to support PWSE through private gifts, please contact Lora Leigh Chrystal, Director of PWSE at 515-294-4317, lchrysta@iastate.edu or click the "how to give" link on the Foundation hompage.
