Getaway is designed to introduce female high school seniors to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics majors (STEM) at Iowa State University. During Getaway, you will...

• Spend two nights and one full day exploring the ISU campus, classes, and residence halls
• Attend regular ISU classes
• Take part in tours
• Experience the dining halls
• Learn more about college life at Iowa State University
• Meet other women in STEM majors and learn from their experiences

Each student is matched with a female WiSE student in the residence halls who has gone through training and is excited to be a host. For more information on Getaway events, check out the Itinerary for WiSE Getaway 2008.

Step 1:	Talk to your parent/guardian about attending the WiSE Getaway
Step 2:	Download and fill out the Getaway Guest Application and Registration Forms
Step 3:	Please return your $50.00 registration fee and completed registration form by December 12, 2007 to guarantee your reservation. Please make checks payable to PWSE and mail the information to:

Step 4:	Your official Getaway itinerary, host information, and release information will be sent by mail in early February 2008.
Step 5:	Attend the Getaway Banquet on February 7, 2008 to kick-off the Getaway events.
